To me this duo powerfully express what black metal is all about: icy spite reserved for those who deserve it, carefully built atmospheres, and a raging rawness to the vocal delivery and drums. All three of their albums so far, though brief, pack a solid emotional punch and have an introspective dimension I deeply appreciate. Highly recommended. Dave Aftandilian
